On Tuesday 21st of October 2025 we held a Coffee Morning on 'What is the Schengen area? Explaining the rules for visiting non-EU artists and cultural professionals.' The aim of the session was to explain what the Schengen area is and demystify the rules that impacts visiting artists.
We were joined by Anita Debaere (Director) and Beatriz Nobre (European Affairs Adviser) of PEARLE* Live Performance Europe, as well as Sebastian Hoffmann from touring artists who provided an explainer of the Schengen area rules and answered questions.
